This year two scholarships will be awarded for attendance to CARL’s 12th Annual Conference, Going Global: Academic Libraries in the Age of Globalization, April 2-5, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine, California.

This form and the following documents should be sent together and must be received by November 30, 2007. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Do not include additional supplemental materials as they will not be considered.

o Two Letters of Reference: References can use the Reference Form and they may be sealed in a separate envelope and included in this packet.

o A Curriculum Vitae or Resume: An outline of related work experience, professional activities, and honors.

o Personal Statement: A one page, double-spaced, typed, statement that outlines your interest in academic librarianship and talks to other criteria listed.
