California State University (CSU) Historical Archives.

The California State University system wide archives are housed at the Dominguez Hills campus. The most interesting piece of the collection is the CSU Public Affairs Photo Collection that encompasses photographic material from the late 1800s to the early 1990s, the bulk of photographs are from 1960s to 1980s.

Glenn M. Anderson Collection.

This collection contains papers, correspondence, and photographs of CA Assemblyman, Lieutenant Governor & Congressman Glenn M. Anderson. The papers start with is political career in 1930s through his tenure in the House.

Asian Pacific Collection

The focus of the Asian Pacific Studies Collection is Japanese American evacuation and internment during World War II. The collection was processed during the Fall of 1998 and is open to research without restrictions.

South Bay History

The first Land Grant given in California, the Rancho San Pedro granted 1784. The original land grant comprised over seventy thousand acres of land, and included the same land that today serves as the site for the Dominguez Hills campus of the California State University. These families lives and business are highlighted.
