CARL POLICY ON PRE-CONFERENCE AND CONFERENCE PRESENTERS

                                                                 HONORARIA AND EXPENSES

 

With the exception of keynote speakers, the process for pre-conference and breakout session speaker selections is      an academic, peer-reviewed process. Therefore, the CARL policy on pre-conference and breakout session speaker honoraria and expenses mandates the following:

Eligible. Must be negotiated with

1) the Interest Group (IG). IG must

factor in the expense when setting

the Pre-Conference registration fee; or

2) with Breakout Session Committee.

In either instance, negotiated fee must

be approved by Conference

Co-Chairs in consultation with

CARL President

Authors, private consultants,

independent contractors,

teaching faculty, specialists

in other disciplines, or      technologists

Eligible (Speaker honoraria to be

negotiated (up to $1,000)

Honoraria to be paid

out of the specific IG pre-

conference registration income)

Must be approved by Conference
