Hope You Were There!
The conference was held at the beautiful Waterfront Plaza Hotel in Oakland's Jack London Square.
There are lots of fun things to do in Oakland itself; however, you may take the ferry to San Francisco or enjoy the 25th Annual San Francisco Blues Festival.
The UC Berkeley vs. University of Oklahoma football game was scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday; there were also three days of special seminars, lectures, and tours, as part of Cal Homecoming & Reunion Weekend '97.
