Visiting Reference/Instruction Librarian – 2 positions

The University of Redlands (http://www.redlands.edu) is seeking two visiting librarians (September 2008 – June 2009) to provide reference and instruction services.

Major responsibilities include: staffing the reference desk; contributing to a shared instruction program; and participating in general collection development responsibilities. Regular evening and weekend hours are required.

Qualifications include: Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program; demonstrated ability to provide reference services and library instruction; knowledge of traditional and electronic reference sources; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and the ability to work independently.
