The Institute of Governmental Studies (IGS) Library, University of California, Berkeley, seeks a versatile and creative librarian to manage web services and digital collection development in a specialized library with a focus on U.S. and California public policy and politics. Required qualifications include: MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution or equivalent degree; knowledge and experience with web design, metadata, and information architecture; background in developing digital initiatives such as archival projects or database-backed dynamic websites; knowledge of print and electronic reference and bibliographic tools in the social sciences. Hiring range: Assistant/Associate Librarian, $43,560-$52,860.
