Copy & Non-Book Cataloger Section Head, USC

The University of Southern California, USC Libraries is seeking a librarian to manage the Copy Cataloging Section in Technical Services. The Section Head supervises unionized staff, develops and promotes section plans, and provides training; is responsible for following departmental policies and national cataloging standards and remains current on issues, trends and developments within the field; creates original and copy cataloging for materials in all formats. Requirements: MLS from an ALA-accredited program, at least two years cataloging experience. This is a one-year contract position with the potential to be renewed annually. USC is an EO/AA Employer.
