Information Services Librarian (Part-Time)

Menlo College seeks qualified applicants for the position of Information Services Librarian (Part-Time Position).

Reporting to the Associate Dean of Library Services, the Information Services Librarian is responsible for providing reference and research assistance to a diverse population of undergraduate users, including adult learners in the Professional Studies Program, as well as faculty and staff.

Desired qualifications include previous experience in an academic or public library; familiarity with an integrated library system, preferably INNOPAC/Millennium; library instruction experience; strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; and a strong commitment to excellent public service.

An ALA-accredited MLIS is required.

This position is part-time, 15-20 hours per week. Some evening and weekend hours will be required, and the position begins Fall Semester 2009.
