Head of User Services
Azusa Pacific University seeks an energetic, motivated and innovative leader to become the new Head of User Services.
The Head of User Services provides leadership to the Circulation and Interlibrary Services departments in the University Libraries which includes the supervision of seven full-time staff. Qualified candidates will be able to identify and implement current and emerging trends in public services. This position will be responsible for maintaining relationships and the collections at the regional center campuses. In addition to providing leadership within the User Services department, the Head of User Services will be the library liaison to the School of Nursing and Exercise & Sport Science as well as serve at the Reference desk.
Qualifications: M.L.S. or M.L.I.S. from an ALA accredited library and information studies program.
2nd Masters in a health related field or equivalent library experience
Experience: Three to five years of professional library experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
Workload: This position offers full-time faculty rank; 12-month year-around
contract. This position will require evening and weekend hours.
