E-Resources and Cataloging Assistant (Library Services Specialist III) – California State University, Chico

The Meriam Library at California State University, Chico invites applications for the position of E-Resources and Cataloging Assistant (Library Services Specialist III).

Working independently, under general supervision the E-Resource and Cataloging Assistant performs specialized technical and paraprofessional duties in support of library services. Incumbent will perform copy cataloging of library materials, such as monographs, serials, periodicals, on-line journals, music scores, electronic-based materials, media, and other print and non-print materials, and conduct database maintenance to ensure the integration and accessibility of Meriam Library’s electronic resources. Responsibilities include maintaining integrity of data contained in the integrated Library System as it pertains to electronic resources, monitoring and maintaining the library’s journal linker, and oversight of the library’s LOCKSS instance. Additionally, incumbent will assist with policy development, including procedural guidelines, and complete special projects related to electronic resources and cataloging.
