The Warren Winiarski Wine Writer Collection Fellow is a two-year appointment responsible for curating, managing, and promoting the library’s wine writer collections. The position affords a unique opportunity to an individual intimate with of the world of wine, at home in the academic library, and curious about technologies that connect collections to new users and new research. The Fellow has the scholarly, technical, and interpersonal skills to identify and engage new authors for the collection, appraise their materials, work with writers currently represented in the collection, and steward donors who support the collection. The Fellow is also responsible for community outreach and promotion programs that increase awareness of the wine writer collections, and promote their use to new audiences, including in research, education, and industry. Situated within the Special Collections department, the Fellow is a critical partner to other library units regarding wine writing and related interdisciplinary topics, supporting collection development, archival processing, research support, instruction, digital projects, outreach, and fundraising.
Salary: Assistant Librarian to Associate Librarian ($49,165-$69,550) (Appointment rank and salary based on qualifications and experience.)
