Metadata Librarian for Humanities, Stanford University

The Metadata Department of the Stanford University Libraries has an opening for a Metadata Librarian for Humanities. This is a term position, ending June 30, 2020.

Reporting to the Head of the Metadata Development Unit (MDU), the Metadata Librarian for Humanities supports creation, organization, and maintenance of metadata to facilitate search, discovery, and access to monographs in Western European languages acquired by the Stanford University Libraries (SUL) using traditional cataloging standards as well as existing and emerging metadata schemas and techniques, such as linked data.
