The University of Southern California (USC) Libraries seek outstanding candidates to serve as a Clinical Librarian to provide services to the University of Southern California-affiliated clinical sites including Keck Medical Center of USC, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, and others. The minimum requirements for the position include at least two years of professional experience in an academic health sciences or hospital library providing information services as well as experience searching major clinical information resources, including PubMed and CINAHL; providing instruction to health professionals or students in evidence-based medicine; effective oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to foster new connections and build relationships; excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including ability to comply with policies and procedures, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines and a strong user-centered approach. In addition, an MLS from an ALA-accredited program or non-U.S. equivalent is typically required for a librarian appointment at USC. Salary is commensurate with experience. Minimum salary: $60,000
