COLLECTION ACCESS AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIGITAL LIBRARIANS

 

The Delmar T. Oviatt Library at California State University, Northridge, seeks up to 2 Librarians who are energetic, creative and service-oriented professionals with experience or knowledge in the various areas of Collection Access and Management Services. Depending on background and experience, the assignment(s) may include some combination of the following areas: collection development, acquisitions, electronic resource management, evaluation of systems and electronic resources, and cataloging. Departmental liaison responsibilities include collection development and management, information literacy instruction, and outreach to students and faculty in life and physical sciences, engineering, arts, humanities, or social sciences. This is a 12-month, full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Senior Assistant Librarian or Associate Librarian level, with attendant expectations for professional competence, service and scholarship. Some evening and weekend work is required. Submit before April 15, 2014 for first consideration.
