General Description:

The Gellert Library at Notre Dame de Namur University seeks a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative individual for the faculty position of Assessment and Outreach Librarian.  Under the Library Director, this librarian will collaborate with library staff, professors, and co-curricular units to provide leadership in continuing the library’s exploration and implementation of new approaches to library collections, services, and assessment on the Belmont campus and for NDNU’s growing online, hybrid, and satellite programs. This librarian will employ a range of assessment, programming, and communication strategies to engage the community and expand the reach of Library services.

The successful candidate will be broadly focused and flexible in order to adjust their range of responsibilities to meet evolving campus needs. The successful candidate will communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other units in the library and on campus to integrate library services into courses to support the information gathering needs of a diverse population of undergraduates, graduates, and faculty at Notre Dame de Namur University.

The University of California, Berkeley is seeking a Project Archivist to process thirteen Environmentally-focused collections as part of a National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) funded project. This is a temporary, two-year appointment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in arrangement and description of manuscript materials, have strong writing and oral communications skills, and have demonstrated proficiency at meeting goals and deadlines.

Electronic Resources and Systems Librarian

The Business Library at Golden Gate University is in the midst of an exciting period of change designed to ensure students and faculty are exposed to an increasing variety of resources available any time/any place. The Electronic Resources and Systems Librarian will play a leading role in managing the library’s e-resources and systems in a collaborative team environment which supports the university’s practice-based curricula. The Librarian will work to ensure optimized, continuous access to the library’s databases, books, journals, and other resources through effective management and troubleshooting of the ILS and other systems. Research assistance, instruction, subject liaison, and coordination of the work of a technical services library specialist are also key elements of the position.
